MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1991. Stopped in 1994 after 66 issues, but continued titled The New Thunderbirds until 1995 (23 issues).

This science fiction series takes place in the 2060s and follows the work of the life-saving organisation International Rescue. One of the involved groups is commanded by Colonel Jeff Tracy, assisted by his 5 sons, from a fleet of flagships called Thunderbirds.

The series was based on a British television puppet series that ran from 1965 to 1966 (23 episodes).
