MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1953. Stopped in 1954 after 9 issues.

The stories mostly feature Masked Marvel, a skull masked vigilante fighting for justice in the Old West. His name is Chet Fairchild, and he lives as a timid bookworm, until he sees injustice taking place.
Also featured is the character Gunsmoke from Gunsmoke Blazing Hero of the West, i.e. not related to the popular American TV and comic book series named Gunsmoke.
