MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1951. Stopped in 1953 after 20 issues.

The starring character is Paul Nichols, who, as a child, witnessed his mother, father, and two sisters being killed by cattle rustlers in the Old West. Years later he takes on the secret identity of The Lone Avenger in order to fight crime.

The title sometimes changed to The Lone Avenger Special.
