MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2000. Stopped in the same year after 6 issues.

The series takes place in 1898 in Victorian England. On behalf of British Intelligence the suffragette Mina Murray assembles and leads a special team to protect the interests of the Empire.
The chosen members are famous characters known from classic books such as Captain Nemo, Allan Quatermain, Dr Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, The Invisible Man, Professor Moriarty, and Fu Manchu. 

In 2003 an American film by the same title premiered featuring several of the characters from the comic book.
