MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1948. Stopped in 1972 after 47 issues.

The series stars the Australian, playboyish Jim 'Devil' Doone, who fights the Axis in the Southeast Asian theater during World War 2 as well as diverse criminal elements in the years thereafter. Accompanying him on several occasions is his soldier comrade known as Desert Head and the girlfriend Morna.

The issues from #21 to #30 were only titled Devil Doone.
