MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1970. Stopped in 1974 after 12 issues.

The stories takes place in the fictional Waratah National Park near Sydney. The events primarily revolve around the owner's younger son Sonny Hammond and his very intelligent female pet Kangaroo called Skippy.

The series is based on an Australian TV series that aired from 1968 to 1970 (91 episodes).
