MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1955. Stopped in 1963 after 55 issues.

The title character is the latest in a long line of similar characters, in which sons have followed fathers for 600 years. They have all made a wow to fight criminals and they are disguising themselves as crusader knights.
The present character's real civilian identity is unknown, but he is sometimes referred to as Mr. Knight. He is occasionally accompanied by his dog Flash.
