The series premiered in 1945. Stopped in 1948 after 158 issues, but continued from 1951 to 1954 (135 issues).

The issues feature independent fairy tales aimed for girls.

The series' title was never clearly defined, as it also became known as Colección Princesa, Princesita, Colección Princesita, and Cuento de Hadas.
