The series premiered in 1949. Stopped in 1955 after 27 issues.

The starring character is the Australian game hunter and tracker Rick Nelson who joins the police force disguised as Manhunter. He has no superpowers but relies on his physical and hunting skills. He is sometimes accompanied by a wolflike dog called Thor.

Continuation of A Pyramid Comic that ran from 1947 to 1949 (28 issues).

The series must no be confused with the American series Manhunter.
