MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1979. Stopped in 1980 after 36 issues.

The title character was one of three heroes (Kid Acero, Invisible Man, Bionic Man) featured in an adventure series named Wolf Squad. The series was published on and off in Estrellas del Deporte from issue #164.

Initially, Acero (meaning Steel in English) was the brainchild of the American toy company Mattel.
