MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1950. Stopped the same year after 12 issues.

The stories take place in Spain sometime during the beginning of the 19th century.

The title of the series refers to the historical Andalusian José María Pelagio Hinojosa Cobacho (1805-1833), who was known as El Bandido Bueno (a Robin Hood figure). The stories are loose and romanticized renderings of his life.
