Personal dates: Founded in 1948 by Jack Bellew, Clive Turnbull, and George Warnecke. The main production was books, magazines, and comics. Stopped in 1958.

Comments: The corporation's production of comics was mainly reprints from American and British newspapers.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1950. Stopped in 1953 after 12 issues.

The starring character is Jimpy, who is set in a medieval world of magic. Basically, he is a young wizard, although he is not very good at the craft (he has failed his sorceror exams several times), but he carries on and manages to help his surroundings from time to time.
