Personal dates: Founded in 1946 by Stanley Larry Cleland. The production of comic books officially stopped in 1957, but the corporation  continued publishing diverse magazines into the 1960s.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1953. Stopped in 1954 after 8 issues.

The main character is the private detective Mike Barnett, who operates from his base in New York City. He is an efficient and hard-hitting investigator bent on bringing criminals to justice.

The stories are loosely based on an American TV show named Man against Crime AKA Follow that Man airing from 1949 to 1956 (122 episodes).
