MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1983. Stopped in 1985 after 20 issues, but continued titled The New DNAgents from 1985 to 1987 (additional 17 issues).

The stories tell about a special team of superheroes created generically in a laboratorium. They are Rainbow the illusionist, Tank the strongman, Surge the lightning blaster, Amber the energy projector, and Sham the shapeshifter.

The first two issues were titled The DNAgents.
