MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1980*. Stopped in 2004 after 10 issues.

The title character was built by professor C.R. Ritchie as the world's most powerful mechanical man. His role is a combination of crime fighter and adventurer. He is accompanied by the professor's nephew Ted and his friend Ken Dale.

The full title of the series is Archie de Man von Staal.

* The stories started in 1952 in England and have been reintroduced more times titled The Jungle Robot as well as Robot Archie.
