MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2002*. Stopped in 2003 after 14 issues.

The stories take place on planet Zi situated 60,000 light years from Earth. Earlier the planet was dominated by metallic animal-looking robots known as Zoids, but now the humans have changed them into battle machines useful to fight endless ongoing wars.
The series contains numerous characters, but the most often recurring ones are the intrepid boy Van Flyheight and the mysterious girl Fiona Elisia Linette.

* Initially, Zoids was a line of toy characters from the Japanese toy company Tomy, but it has spawned several video games, cartoon episodes, and comic book series.
