MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2003*. Stopped in 2004 after 7 issues, but has been briefly continued several times since then.

The main character is the timid and nerdish, gameloving boy Yugi Moto, who has unlocked a powerful Egyptian artefact called Millenium Puzzle by solving it. An imprisoned ancient pharaoh spirit Yami now freed from the artefact takes over the mind of Moto. Together they attempt to be the masters of any kind of games of chance.

The series' Japanese title means King of Game in English.
