MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2006. Stopped in 2011 after 26 issues.

The main character in the stories is the enterprising and innovative 16-year old male Kazuma Azuma, who has taken upon himself to create a stunning national bread for Japan. We follow him and his coworkers as they learn the craftmanship and get the ideas.

The first part of the Japanese title means Freshly Baked in English, and the word Japan is - besides being the name of the stories' country - a pun on the Japanese word Pan meaning Bread.
