MAIN STORY |
The series premiered in 2001*. Stopped the same year after 6 issues. The title character, a featureless round-headed alien, who was once rescued from a wrecked starship and placed in a galactic zoo ship. There he has many friends among the other zoo dwellers, who never really realize that they are in fact nothing but prisoners, although some of them try to break free. Still, they all remain trapped. The somewhat enigmatic title of the series derives from the Greek philosopher Xeno's famous paradox, in which an arrow is shot at a target. Every time it has travelled half the distance, it again has to cover half the remaining distance thus - in theory - it never reaches its goal, because the dwindling distances can always be divided by two. * The first series was titled Xeno's Arrow and was published from 1999 to 2000 (10 issues). |
