MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1958. Stopped in 1961 after 10 issues.

The series is built around a real person, Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp (1848-1929), who became well known as a Marshal in several communities in the Old West. His most famous feat took place in Dodge City, Kansas, and Tombstone, Arizona, and the series is primarily based on tales from those locations.

The series is based on a TV series that ran from 1955 to 1961 under the title The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp. The full title of the comic book series is Hugh O'Brian, Famous Marshal Wyatt Earp.
