MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1973. Stopped in 1976 after 10 issues.

The starring character, an owl, is working in a wood, where he serves as its protector against pollution. He is often in the company of several forest friends and foes such as Busy Beaver, Doc Stork, Eli Fox, Hot Lion, Loose Moose, and Nutsy Squirrel.

The series is based on a mascot of the United States Forest Service, and was created in 1970 as an advertising campaign for protection of  the forest environment.
