MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1991*. Stopped in 1994 after 29 issues.

The title character is Simon Williams, who started his career as a supervillain, but he is now a superhero. He gets his powers from a type of self-generating ionic energy stored in his body. It not only renders him with superpowers but also with the ability to live indefinitely without air, food, and water.

* The character was first published in 1964 in The Avengers, but the series on this page is the first with him in the title role.
