MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2004. Stopped in 2007 after 14 issues.

The main characters in this romantic comedy series are two teenagers who aspire to be famous actors. Ito Miura is a tomboy who likes to dress and look as a boy, while Makoto Narita seems to be a beautiful and very feminine girl. But she is in fact a boy; he only acts and looks as a girl to win a bet against his father in order to convince him, that he should become an actor. In their drama club the two teenagers manage to get the starring roles in William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet.

The series' somewhat puzzling title derives from the Japanese W that can mean Double plus the name of the leading female character in the abovementioned play.
