MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2001. Stopped in 2010 after 120 issues.

The fantasy stories feature 5 time travelling teenage girls who are chosen to be the guardians of Kandrakar, an etherial dimension in the middle of the universe. From there they battle hostiles using their powers over nature's elements.
The protectors are Will Vandom, Irma Lair, Taranee Cook, Cornelia Hale, and Hay Lin, whose first name initials form the series' acronym title W.i.t.c.h.
