MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1950. Stopped in 1955 after 16 issues.

The series is based on a real person by the name of Gordon A. Nance, who played the rugged hero in numerous B-Westerns under the name of Wild Bill Elliot. His film career started in 1925 under this pseudonym, but his career really took off, when he received the starring role in Red Ryder.

The initial title of the series was Wild Bill Elliot Comics.
