MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1974. Stopped in 1980 after 77 issues, of which the last 4 publications are double issues.

The title character is a little redhaired boy who is living with his parents Ylva and Halvar in the Viking village of Flake. Sometimes he sails along with his father and other male townspeople to take part in perilous and exciting adventures, where the small boy finds his strength in solving problems by use of logic and intelligence.

The series is modelled after a Japanese TV series that aired from 1972 to 1974 (78 episodes).
