MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2010*. Ongoing.

The series' overall plotline is built on a vast mythological, fantasy universe invented by American novellist James Oliver Rigney, Jr. (better known under his pen name Robert Jordan (1948-2007)). The main story starts with a village attacked by evil forces, whereupon groups of young villagers take to the land in order to drum up help. One of the numerous main characters are Rand Al'Thor.

The full title of the series is Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time with the undertitle The Eye of the World.
