MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1954. Stopped in 1957 after 17 issues, but was briefly revived titled The Western Kid from 1971 to 1972 (5 additional issues).

The starring character is Tex Dawson is a cowboy adventurer in the Old West, where he travels around and help people against villainous types. He is accompanied by his stallion Whirlwind and his German shepherd dog Lightning.
