MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1972. Stopped in 1977 after 43 issues.

The starring character was born Jacob Russoff, but he later changed his name to Jack Russell. He is of Romanian descent, and his forefathers were werewolves. So is Russell, but he is battling his lycanthropy attempting to be normal, upstanding person, and he tries to neutralize creatures of the night using his immense strength.
