MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1968. Stopped in 1972 after 173 issues.

The title character is a big strongman wearing a yellow costume. He has a golden heart and is on a mission to help out wherever needed - in diverse time ages. Several other characters participate in the series; examples are the helper Ricki, the inventor Professor Barabas, the aunt Sidonie, the President Arthur, the secretary Babsi, as well as the versatile nuclear motorcycle Bumsi.

The main character was first published in the Belgian series Suske en Wiske under the name of Jerôme.
