MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1988. Stopped in 1990 after 6 issues.

The overall plotline is loosely built on the author H.G. Wells' famous 1898 novel by the same title, in which aliens from Mars invade the Earth. In the series the aliens actually manage to go undercover and interact with some humans as part of their secret masterplan to wipe out humanity.
