MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2011. Ongoing. A pseudo-sequel titled Voltron Force ran from 2012 to 2013 (6 issues).

The series takes place in a galaxy brutally ruled by King Zarkon. A team of young humans from Earth joins the fight to defend the galaxy from evil, and to that end they command a giant super robot known as Voltron.

The concept derives from a TV series that aired from 1984 to 1985 titled Voltron: Defender of the Universe (124 episodes).
