MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1948. Stopped in 1952 after 19 issues.

The title character is a goddess from the planet Venus, who travels to Earth and settles as Victoria 'Vicki' Nutley Starr, a journalist and editor for Beauty Magazine. During its run the series switched from lighthearted comedies to horror tales thus rendering the title character very difficult to classify.
