MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1983. Ongoing.

The main character is Vasco Baglioni, who is a young Italian living in Siena during the Renaissance. He is a clerk in his uncle Tolomeo Tolomeď's bank, and he is sent on diverse missions in the troubled world of medieval bankers. A number of persons occur on the way, some of which are real historical ones.
