The series premiered in 2003*. Stopped in 2007 after 9 issues.

The partly historically based stories describe diverse events in the successful Roman dictator Julius Caesar's wars against the Gauls, the Germans, and the Britons.

The series' Latin title means Woe to the Vanquished in English.
