The series premiered in 1935*. Stopped in 1937 after 121 issues, but has been continued by diverse publishers until 1949 (additional 481 issues).

The series primarily features the characters from Mickey Mouse.

The series official title does not incorporate the term Giornale, but it has been a common addition in Italy.
