MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1939. Stopped in 1944 after 45 issues.

The stories focus on diverse American superheroes such as Black Hood, Kardak, The Firefly, and The Wizard.
From #28 the series was retitled
to Top-Notch Laugh Comics leaving only Black Hood now accompanied by several humourous series such as Dottie and Ditto, Pokey Oakey, Suzie, and Three Monkeyteers.
