Personal dates: Started in 1915 as publisher of books and lifestyle magazines, and later comic books were added. Sold to Schibsted AS in 1999.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1989. Stopped in 2004 after 192 issues, but continued under other publishers until 2009 (additional 49 issues).

The stories primarily feature the characters from Calvin and Hobbes.
