MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1999. Stopped in 2005 after 51 issues, but has been revived several times since then.

The adventure stories feature Lara Croft, who is an intelligent British archaelogist with a preference for venturing into ancient and hazardous tombs and ruins around the world. She often has to battle villainous characters on her way, and to that end she has masterly skills in the fields of gymnastics, martial arts, and weaponry.

The series is based on a video game from 1996 by the same title.
