The series premiered in
1964. Stopped in 1977.
The strip follows a goodlooking,
independent girl named Tiffany Jones, who settles
as a fashion model in a flat in London. This is
right in the swinging 1960s, when the youth
culture in the Western hemisphere changed
dramatically and hippies and flower power saw the
light of day. Jones can be perceived as a
representative of this growing culture, but she
is also hardworking and ambitious.
At the premiere Tiffany Jones
was billed as the first all-girl comic strip in
the world.
