The series premiered in 1929. Stopped in
2008.
This was a long-running one-panel newspaper strip
that dealt with numerous contemporary social and political
topics, which received mostly satirical and critical comments.
Early on, a timid looking man referred to as Henry Tremblechin
occurred more and more frequently along with his very lively
daughter. They went on to form their own series called Little
Iodine.
The
series' slightly enigmatic title soon became a catchphrase, that
can still be heard today.
