Comments: Charlton published stories from all genres of the comic book universe. The company was known for its low-budget activities that included the publishing of previously unpublished material from bygone companies.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1952. Stopped in 1954 after 17 issues*.

The series contains a mixture of horror, science fiction, and weird suspense in self-contained stories. The contents have nothing to do with Marvel's later character The Thing from Fantastic Four.

* The series continued in a few, erratic editions under the title Blue Beetle.
