MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1938.

The title characters live in a cottage in the deep woods where they work in their prosperous diamond mine. The dwarfs have different personalities which are, to some extent, reflected in their names; Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy.

The characters originate from the 1937 animated Disney feature film titled Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs.
