MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1960. Stopped in 1962 after 11 issues.

The starring character is an Old West homesteader, Lucas McCain, who raises his son Mark after his wife's death. McCain, who carries a Winchester rifle as his 'trademark', seemingly spends most of his time fighting bad guys and helping good guys.

The series is based on a TV series that ran from 1958 to 1963.
