MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1987. Stopped in 1995 after 104 issues, but the series has been revived several times (titled either The Punisher or Punisher) since then.

The title character's real name is Frank Castle. After his wife and two children were killed during a mobster shootout in New York City, Castle devoted his life to being a vigilante using all means to neutralize criminals.
