MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2002. Stopped in 2004 after 24 issues (#0 is a so-called Prequel).

These fantasy stories take place in Nayado, an island nation reminiscent of feudal Japan. The Emperor Mitsumune has lost his sanity, so monks and samurai warriors seek to overthrow him. Some of the recurring characters are Obo-san, Ryuichi, Wulf, Yamane Aiko, and Yukio.
