MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1986. Stopped in 1993 after 84 issues.

The series describes the 23rd US infantry's actions during the Vietnam war. Some of the emphasis is on authencity as for locations and battles, and the actions supposedly take place in realtime, so that each ongoing month is covered in a new issue.
