MAIN STORY |
The series premiered in 2009*. Stopped in 2010 after 12 issues, but has been revived briefly several times since then. The stories
are partly set in a vaudeville theater, where numerous puppet characters
participate on and off stage. Due to the performing characters' often
strange ideas and preferences the shows usually end in turmoil, thus the
leader, a green frog named Kermit, has the impossible task of getting
things right. Another part of the stories takes the characters outside
the theater on diverse dangerous adventures. The series is loosely based on a series of TV puppet shows that ran from 1976 to 1981 (120 episodes). The full title of the series on this page is The Muppet Show Comic Book. * The series as such premiered in 1981. |
