MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1990. Stopped in 1993 after 36 issues, but the series was later revived as several thematic publications featuring one new superhero in each series.

The series is an encyclopedia mentioned as a Master Edition featuring descriptions, statistics, and stories with practically all of Marvel's action heroes. The corporation used the following tagline on the front covers: The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe.
