MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2010*. Stopped in 2012 after 13 issues.

The title character as such has been the protector and warrior of the Catholic Church since the death of Jesus Christ. He was reputed to have had a wife, Mary Magdalene, from which a lineage of Magdalenas have been active from mothers to daughters until this day. Their task is to protect humanity from threats and evils. The current Magdalena is also known as Patience.

* The character was first published as Sister Mariella in The Darkness beginning in #15.
